The Magic Mirrors are a four piece Americana influenced rock n roll band reinterpreting their roots in a contemporary context. Although their influences divulge mainly from the rock music of the 60's and 70's they are not a throwback band. Originality is strictly demanded from every song they write. The Magic Mirrors self released their first full length album entitled Lonely Mile which features eleven original tracks recorded in October 2009 at Orbit Audio in Pioneer Square downtown Seattle. Produced by Joe Reineke, the album was recorded exclusively on tape and analog recording equipment and released in April of 2010. The album maintains a raw and live feel faithfully capturing the passion of their live performances. A year after the release of Lonely Mile the Magic Mirrors have written nearly another album's worth of new material which has become a natural progression steeped in more soul and groove which they have been featuring and perfecting in live performances and plan to record at year's end.
